Each year the Parish Council has to file an Annual Return to the Audit Commission to report on the council’s financial position, significant differences from the previous year, carry out an Internal Audit (by an independent person) and demonstrate good governance The reporting requirements are based on income < £200,000. The District Auditor then examines the return and provides a sign-off and response.
We hope to build up the annual returns stored here over time. The first report is the annual return for 2009/2010 filed in late June 2010.
