Further update from Southern Water received by the Parish Council:

Good afternoon,

Following my update this morning, I wanted to provide further information on the incident we’re managing in Kent.

While approximately 3,200 properties were initially without water, we were able to restore supply to most of these customers relatively quickly. As of now, 384 properties remain out of supply. An additional tanker is already injecting water into this part of the network, and we expect these customers to be brought back into supply shortly. In the meantime, bottled water deliveries have begun, and we aim to complete deliveries to all 384 affected properties this evening.

In terms of the repair, our teams are continuing to carefully excavate down to the damaged section of pipe. We have the resources on site, to begin the repair as soon as access is achieved, and we will keep you updated on progress.

Thank you for your continued understanding while we work to resolve this issue.
