Due to the extremely dry weather conditions and a high risk of wildfires, we are issuing a strict reminder that no open fires or BBQs are permitted on the Recreation Ground.

Recently, photos have been circulated showing BBQs being used and burnt patches of grass left behind on our community space. In these dry conditions, it only takes a single spark to start a devastating fire that can spread rapidly.

(Please note: We have also contacted all allotment holders to request that absolutely no bonfires are lit on site until further notice).

Please help us protect our green spaces: 🚫 No BBQs or open fires. 🗑️ Take all your litter home (especially glass, which can magnify the sun and start fires). 📞 Call 999 immediately if you spot a fire.
