A proposal for a Memorial Hall extension is being developed. Subject to grant funding it is planned to include:

New extended Hall at the southern end
Including additional facilities for the Pre-School Group and other hirers

Current Small Hall developed into additional Storage and Committee Room
The committee room to be wired for Multimedia and to provide fast broadband access throughout the hall

Committee room
available for
Advice Surgery activities (e.g. Citizens Advice, Police Liaison)
Training for all ages (e.g. Computing, computer based training)
Youth Club Actvities

Changing Rooms for activities n the Hall and outside on the Recreation Ground
Football Changing Rooms
Organised activities in the Ball Park or BMX Skateboard Park
Activities in the Hall e.g.:-
Karate
Dance
Drama

Providing for all ages from the very young to the not so young

If we are successful with our bid for funding we would hope to start work as early as summer 2012.
We expect a decision on our outline submission by early March.
